And then the husband turned 30 on 8th November and we both turned 1 as a married couple on 11th November.

No getaways, no romantic candlelight/by the beach dinners, no surprise parties, HELL not even a birthday cake for the birthday boy!!! What the @#$!!!~ See? People DO change when they get married!

Ok ok, so I did get him a ring (to fit that proper ring finger because the wedding ring was too big to be worn on the left side) from Lee Hwa which SO didnt cost any hole in my pockets (READ: sapa2 nak belikan hubby/bf cincin, sila ke Lee Hwa and ask to see their male collection - no, not their salesmen). And yes, I did get him those soccer shoes and that Adidas top, so cukuplah iye...me being the nice wife of course didnt ask for anything in return except for that cheap Charles & Keith bag and that not-so-expensive top from Jelita to wear to his D&D...so all's fair in love and war. Heh.

OH - we did write cards for each other, contents of which shouldn't and can't be spilled here. Not because they are THAT mushy, but they might just make me cry.

Trust me, this first year of marriage is one hell of a journey. But we enjoyed it nevertheless. In his own words "I wouldn't have it any other way..." Me too, darling... Me too. :)
